Itinerary:
Day 1: Individual arrival to Lucerne (arrival day should be Sunday!)
Day 2: Lucerne - Wolhusen
Over a small hill you make your way out of the city center of Lucerne. Soon you reach the banks of “Kleine Emme”, a small river that leads your way to the monastery Werthenstein, a famous pilgrimage spot. From here Wolhusen is in short walking distance. Walking time: approx. 6 hours, approx. 21 km, + 300 - 580 m / - 170 - 445 m.
Day 3: Wolhusen – Luthern Bad
After a short walk you reach the “Wiggerewald”, a small forest. Here you walk through a pristine valley. Keep your eyes open, gold could be found in the Emmental for some time and maybe it is not only the sun that is sparkling in the quiet rivers. When reaching “Bärrüti” a small path brings you to the Alpine panorama route, from where you have nice views on the adjacent alpine peaks. Walking time: approx. 5 hours, approx. 16 km, + 700 / - 390 m.
Day 4: Luthern Bad – Lüderenalp / Wasen i. E.

Day 5: Lüderenalp / Wasen i. E. – Trubschachen – Langnau i. E.
From Lüderenalp you walk up to a ridge that brings you closer to the Alps. All day long you have amazing views on the close mountains. On your way to Langnau i.
